TASTING NOTES

Grown in the rocky red soil of TOR’s Tierra Roja Vineyard, a stone’s throw from those of Screaming Eagle and Backus, this elegant, multi-layered wine is perfumed with black fruits, graphite and tobacco leaf. Dense and structured, with a velvety texture, it fills the palate with abundant dark fruit and spicy, dried Mediterranean herbs leading to a long, savory finish.

ABOUT THE VINTNER

Tor Kenward knows the Napa Valley more intimately than nearly anyone else. A vintner for more than 40 years – 27 of them with Beringer – he has a deep appreciation for the near-mystical qualities of the valley’s most celebrated vineyards and the wines they produce. In 2001 he and his wife, Susan, founded TOR Wines with a mission to make rare and exceptional vintages that celebrate these legendary sites.
