2015 Uvaggio Acampo Rosato 750ml
Tasting Notes: The 2015 a'Campo rosé is a subtle, food-friendly wine. Elegant and well-balanced, the wine features strawberry, guava, passion fruit and blood orange aromas and flavors, dancing across the palate in a relatively complex manner.
Winemaker's Notes: Acampo is a real place, located just north of Lodi, while a'Campo is really more a state of mind. It comes from old vines and Lodi is the center for old vine plantings. In fact, these vines are over 130 years old. This is the oldest Cinsault being grown in California. Sourced from own-rooted, head trained vines planted in the mid 1880s, in very sandy soils with fairly low fertility.
Composition: 77% Cinsault, 12% Grenache, 11% Vermentino
