2015 PharaohMoans Grenache
Tasting Notes: The 2015 PharaohMoans Grenache was harvested in mid-October and aged for 17 months in 60% new French oak barrels. The Grenache is subtle and sophisticated with gentle notes of crushed strawberries and flower petals softly coating your entire palate. This wine will continue to mature for the next 10 years in bottle. Only 90 cases of PharaohMoans 2015 Grenache produced.
Vintner Notes: PharoahMoans was born from a fascination of food friendly, Rhone-style wines. A passion project from award-winning chef Brian Ogden and award-winning vintner and restauranteur John Schwartz, the wine is sure to please. Winemaker Guillaume Fabre has been making wine for two generations in the South of France and Bordeaux where he worked on his family property since he was old enough to help. Here Guillaume gained many years of experience learning all the facets of growing and producing wine. In 2006, he moved from France to Paso Robles, California. Now working on his own projects, he remains passionate about continuously learning to make the finest wines.
