2013 Harrison Nobility 375ml
Tasting Notes: The 2013 Nobility is delicately layered with aromas and flavors of honey, apricot, vanilla, and pear. Toasty oak, fig, sweet tobacco leaf, and a balancing acidity carry through to a richly honeyed finish.
Winemaker's Notes: "After several decades of working with botrytis, I have very distinct ideas about winemaking. Balance is essential. The 2013 Nobility began with meticulous single-berry selection in the vineyard and winery, and then barrel fermentation and aging in new French Oak cooperage followed. Fermentation was very slow and steady, lasting almost 5 weeks. The wine was then aged for 26 months until bottling. The Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from Gamble Ranch here in Napa, and the Semillon comes from Knights Valley in Sonoma."
Composition: 70% Semillon, 30% Sauvignon Blanc

Our Thoughts: "True gold in color, as elegant a wine as it looks. The nose is honey, golden raisins, caramelized peach and dried apricot. Bright acidity compliments the sweetness of this Sauternes-style wine, with a round, full finish. Put this next to creme brulee, foie gras, even Roquefort blue cheese for an unforgettable pairing." - Justin Vazquez, Wine Consultant
