James Lloyd
James Lloyd attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the University of Pennsylvania, and for many years taught others to become artists while creating his own sculptures. His organic abstractions in steel and bronze are drawn from his childhood love of natural forms. "Nature is my master," says Lloyd. His prolific 38 year career includes helmeted heads, figures, gates, arches, obelisks and natural forms, all characterized by a dignified single-mindedness.
