Fine woodworker and metal sculptor, David Tanych has been building objects since childhood when his father gave him a saw, hammer, nails and a block of wood. Inspired by its strength and flexibility, he started using steel to construct functional objects and furniture. Gaining mastery, David began building big and bold outdoor sculptures which are then acid etched to allow them to rust. These works represent everyday objects, resulting in work that is fun and playful and demands to be seen.
